Ingredients:
3 sticks butter, softened
8 oz. Cream cheese softened
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp lemon zest
3 cups flour sifted
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Cream together butter, cream cheese & sugar until fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time. Mix in vanilla, lemon juice & zest, beat until well blended. Add dry ingredients mix well. Pour batter into greased and floured tube cake pan and bake for 80 minutes in 300 degree oven. Turn oven off, let cake sit for 10 additional minutes. Remove cake from oven, let cool in pan 15 minutes before turning out and cool completely on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar if desired ad enjoy.
